Overview:

This dry lake bed sits southwest of Pahrump, reached by heading out Homestead Road past the brothels until the road runs into open playa that crosses the state line into California. It’s wide-open, flat terrain — a good spot to open it up and let the SxS stretch its legs, away from the wash-and-rock trails closer to town.

What to Know Before You Go:

– Heads up — this area is in California: California OHV rules apply here, not Nevada’s. At minimum, expect to need a DOT-approved helmet, a whip flag, a fire extinguisher on board, and a valid California OHV registration tag (Green Sticker or Red Sticker) for your machine.
